Apa itu "Got Talent" ?
Got Talent adalah format TV acara pencarian bakat Inggris yang dikembangkan oleh perusahaan SYCOtv milik Simon Cowell dan dimiliki oleh Fremantle Media Ltd. Ini telah menelurkan spin-off di lebih dari 70 negara yang disebut sebagai format 'Got Talent', serupa dengan itu dijelaskan oleh Fremantle tentang format kompetisi pertunjukan menyanyi 'Idol' dan 'The X Factor'. Berbeda dengan pertunjukan tersebut, "Got Talent" menampilkan berbagai disiplin ilmu selain menyanyi.
'Got Talent' dinobatkan sebagai format reality TV paling sukses di dunia oleh Guinness World Records. Cowell menyatakan, “Saya sangat bangga bahwa Got Talent adalah pertunjukan Inggris yang dikembangkan sendiri. Kami berhutang kesuksesannya kepada sekelompok produser yang sangat berbakat di seluruh dunia yang telah mewujudkannya. Dan tentu saja bakat yang luar biasa.”
